Extra bit of context: I worked on PFAS research in Michigan from 2018-2019. Its use was banned in 2021.

A map of states that banned PFAS. The included states are Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island and Vermont. Kentucky, Minnesota, New York, Virginia, and Washington adopted PFAS related measures.

As someone that’s worked in public health for 8 years, it can be really easy to feel like your work isn’t making an impact. I came across this post on Instagram and it was really validating to see my small contribution to PFAS research out in the world. #PFAS #publichealth

I fervently love video game music. LOVE it. Have for 25 years. I KNOW not every track is incredible. I KNOW that nothing is perfect or that maybe it's silly to compare it to Mozart or Beethoven but I just love it. I hope everyone finds something to love. Many things to love.
