This is apt. It’s not just that strategic, city-wide invasions would make fair elections in those cities impossible. Between roving patrols and Kavanaugh stops, a much smaller DHS presence would also be a nightmare for immigrant-citizen turnout.

It is inconceivable to me that any Democrat would vote for a DHS funding bill that fails to include a mandate that requires these federal goons to take their masks off.

Donald Trump took money that reduced what working Americans pay for health care to prop up a reckless immigration force.

Observing the situation around #Greenland, I have a strong sense of déjà vu - we’ve seen and heard this before. It reminds me of 2014 and Crimea.

Any one of us could be detained for hours by ICE despite being a U.S. citizen.

Any one of us could be in the next apartment building that ICE raids in the middle of the night.

Any one of us could be the next to be brutalized by ICE for speaking out.

Authoritarianism hurts all of us.

If the Trump administration really believed the ICE officer who shot Renee Good did nothing wrong, they wouldn’t be barring local officials in Minnesota from investigating — which makes me wonder what evidence they’re hiding from the public.

If it was about making citizens safer he would kidnap Putin and Netanyahu

Whether they realize it or not, all these CEOs getting in bed with Trump for short-term benefit to exploit his transactional corruption are self-inflicting long-term reputational damage to themselves personally and their brands. The stink of Trump never washes off.
