Tiny Little Thing On the Side of a Leaf
Any idea what it is? A gall?

One of the strange things I noticed, that I've seen in multiple leaves now, are these *tiny* coils. I'm unsure if it has to do with me attempting to cut them for cross sections, but in any case if anyone knows what they are please tell me!

My god - lovely stack! Those towering spiny legs make me glad I'm hundreds of times bigger than them. Would be a very frightening thing to see if that wasn't the case.
