Alberta’s UCP gov’t raised education property tax revenue by 13.3% from 2020-2025 ($2.4B to $2.72B), with a 14% jump to $3.1B planned for 2025-26. Yet, they’ve funneled $2.4B from public education to fund private/charter schools serving just 7% of students. Not bad math—by design. #ABpoli #ABLeg

There were a LOT of people out at the #Calgary rally to support teachers and public education. Someone said -"This is significantly more people than was at the Premier's breakfast." And that's without the draw of food and direct connection with the pulse & access to power and influence. #AbEd #AbLeg
