I knew the plate ump pretty well from all the summer ball, and he told me before that PA "your arms are [this long], the bat is [this long], anything close is gonna be a strike."

I don't feel bad for that - the game itself is broken, because it let me just play high-value combos until it said it was a word

We had to play 5 innings before the run rule kicked in, but intentionally flailing at pitches way out of the zone, batting opposite-handed, etc. is all way more unsportsmanlike than just playing extremely cautiously, and we only had 3 guys on the bench so we couldn't mass-sub.

Final was like 48-0

We had a JV double-header on a Saturday in HS. Their coach asked if we could play 1, "because we're a little short on pitching," we agreed.

We scored 21, top 1, and left them loaded. I led off the 2nd in my 4th PA of the game, up three TDs, and walked because all four pitches bounced.
