In Parliament, I raised how rural pharmacies in Benson and across Henley & Thames are being penalised. Under Pharmacy First, thresholds have risen from 5 to 30 consultations — leaving many effectively delivering the service unpaid. I asked what will be done to fix it.

I questioned the Minister about the suitability of the Pharmacy First scheme for rural areas. In Benson, pharmacists are struggling to meet the threshold for consultations. The Minister committed to raising my concerns with his department to ensure that Pharmacy First can be delivered effectively.

Good to see the Thame to Haddenham Greenway featured on ITV local news.

I was proud to join campaigners last week to hand in the petition to 10 Downing Street, urging progress on a safe walking and cycling route between Thame and Haddenham.

I'm shocked that the Greens on Oxfordshire County Council have withdrawn support for the Watlington Relief Road, after promising support at local elections. I've written with Cllr Ben Higgins to their Leader to ask him withdraw an amendment to the county's budget that would scrap the scheme.

It was great to present the Thame to Haddenham Greenway petition at 10 Downing Street today with Councillor Kate Gregory, Thame Mayor Andy Gilbert, Greg Smith MP, and local campaigners Sarah Green and Cathy Gaulter-Carter.

I visited St Mary’s Church in Whitchurch-on-Thames to meet the PCC and Vicar James Leach to discuss urgent repairs to the church roof and spire. Supporting practical work like this matters to local communities, and I’ll keep pressing for long-term funding.

Yesterday, during the government policy announcement on business rates, I asked the Minister to go further to support businesses with a 5% emergency cut in VAT for hospitality.

The government must recognise the scale of the challenge, and to take urgent action to protect pubs, jobs and communities.

To mark Holocaust Memorial Day, I signed the Holocaust Educational Trust’s Book of Commitment, honouring the six million Jewish men, women and children murdered during the Holocaust. The theme for commemoration is ‘Bridging Generations’ to remind us of the need to pass on knowledge of what happened.

I spoke with beauty industry representatives about reforms to the sector under the Health and Care Act.

Better regulation in this space will protect consumers and support qualified beauty professionals, many of whom we are lucky enough to have in the constituency.

I met with BDUK and the Minister to discuss next steps for the rollout of gigabit broadband in the constituency. I am continuing to engage with stakeholders on this issue to make sure Henley and Thame is not left behind.
