Mens league stat line
10.08.2025 23:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0At minimum theyβve shown they can pull a bullpen together, which is what good teams do.
04.08.2025 04:07 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Sure maybe they stay depth guys and they keep them that way. Donβt think many would have guess that theyβd be getting where they are with Quantrill & Junk.
Still think Meyer can be pretty good but thatβs also assuming his poor starts this year line up with when his hip started bothering him.
Probably, I mean depends on the return. But they have Meyer, Weathers, Garrett healthy next year. Mazur, Gusto in AAA. Snelling has looked really good lately.
I think itβs clear you build around Eury. So they can be a part of that but there are also some good pieces coming soon.
Darkly hilarious box score after the trade deadline. My goodness
02.08.2025 02:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβm guessing theyβll give him a chance to start next year.
31.07.2025 16:17 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Any idea if Beavers still has issues with high velo? Thought I saw that in a report somewhere but havenβt seen it since.
24.07.2025 20:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0You might remember when it was a big deal when he hit 102 multiple times in the minors earlier this year?
It was against a guy who hit a homer off him earlier in the game. Hahaha
Probably a good thing but also gonna cause stress if youβre keeping an eye out for velo dips.
Heβs varied his velo a lot in the minors, will ramp up for the middle of the order etc.
Theyβve made some comments on inning limits so I wouldnβt be surprised if it was planned ahead.
Along with something similar moving forward so heβs good for the playoffs.
Havenβt really heard any speculation on this but I do think that AZ & MIL would be a fun trading pair.
MIL pitching depth for Naylor/Suarez.
AZ can cover at bats (Lawlar, Smith, etc), MIL pushes their chips in on an improved offense, AZ gets younger SP depth they lack in the minors.
Postseason could be one & done so I think heβll end up between 140-150 during the season. Deal with it as it happens.
Guess heβll end up starting 1x a week, wouldnβt be shocked at a 6 man rotation for a bit either.
McClanahan coming back, guess they could end up trading someone like Bradley too.
No idea what his methods are but people generally understate that players have agency in their own training decisions.
Especially for anyone who assumes this one drill or training method will solve injuries or whatnot.
Theyβve had a lot of positive additions on the player dev side in the last few years. Which should help

Bummer.
45 pitch innings (or whatever that was) can definitely push you over the brink.
Story about how Max Scherzer believes throwing 120+ pitches helped him.

22.06.2025 02:05 β π 1 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0I wish he stayed in but Iβm not sure itβs more complicated than bringing in a lefty to face lefty/rookie/lefty.
20.06.2025 01:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0You can say the relationship soured after they signed Bregman, or the moving position conversations. But players move positions as they age all the time.
I just donβt see why Breslow has to keep Devers at third because the previous front office said so.
Because itβs a different front office. He signed the extension under Bloom in Jan β23. Breslow was hired in Oct β23.
Itβs also the reason no-trade clauses exist. If itβs that important to a player they can negotiate it.
New front offices come in and clear out the coaching staff all the time. Or βbadβ contracts get released before theyβre over. Same thing happens in business. You can say it sucks but thatβs what it is.
Player evaluations change quickly and some front offices are going to act quickly on it.
You just canβt run a front office by saying you canβt change anything the previous one committed too.
16.06.2025 01:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Wasnβt it the previous FO that told him he was staying at third?
16.06.2025 00:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Both probably but you can read between the lines to see the relationship seemed pretty bad now.
Probably enough skill red flags that you see a sharp drop off after his peak.
Incredible box score
11.06.2025 01:15 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Doesnβt seem like it unfortunately. If anything itβs seems like it may have ramped up even more.
05.06.2025 20:15 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yep, feels like thatβs been going on for a long time now unfortunately
05.06.2025 15:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Truly an incredible stat line from Quinn Priester today
31.05.2025 01:26 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβd guess taller players stand further away but I dunno!
29.05.2025 04:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Could be, is height a confounding variable here?
29.05.2025 03:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Solid player but a likely yes on both counts.
