The fun thing about me saying that progressives can't coalition build...is that so many of them can't. I just turned off notifications on someone, because they can't meaningfully answer a simple question. Why is it required that all Democrats nationwide endorse in a mayoral race, when that mayoral candidate didn't even endorse the Dem candidate in the previous election? Why is it that progressives get to demand Dems do their explicit bidding, while not reciprocating in any way? They sound a lot like...tenderqueers, don't they? "Vote for my issues but not your own." It's not surprising that the Venn overlap of these two groups feels quite large. If progressives want to act less like bigot-supporting reactionaries based in white supremacy and misogyny, they...would be happier in the Democratic Party. But I think they need to Go Their Own Way for a century or so. They have this idea that they can win all by themselves, despite every single "progressive" Congressperson having gotten their seat by starting as a Democrat. All but one, are -still- Democrats. But they -hate- Democrats, which sounds a lot like self-hatred to me, and that is not my problem. Also, Harris already endorsed him? What's the point of being aggro about this NOW? Fetterman didn't endorse him, so it's just the ninja women who DID that are the problem? Like NONE OF THIS MAKES ANY FUCKING SENSE!
