Even with the rain we had last week in Yorkshire some of my plants have had enough. Too little too late for them sadly. However I do have some Cosmos & Rudbeckia, I grew from seedlings, still to bloom. So hopefully that will add some colour (& pollinator food) in the next few weeks 🤞

Very clear most of the negative posts hadn't read the article. Also that I have absolutely no interest in any of the trending topics on Bluesky! & that areas I am interested in (politics, environment etc) has very good engagement. So I wonder if the Bluesky age range is higher than others sites?

More time should have been spent discussing why it's broken & how to fix it, rather than rehashing issues that have been discussed to death under all governments. If the fix is complex (which it is) then why spend so little time on it in the article?

Our news media are relatively good at saying *what* is happening. But they have no interest at all in *why* things happen, leaving bad actors to fill in information gaps for the public. But here's the thing: _why things happen_ isn't a matter of opinion. Journalism can and should join the dots.
