I think it just needs to be approved by the minister and then it can be published by either EHRC and or government
26.09.2025 13:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Laying the guidance literally just means putting it in the House of Commons library it doesnβt mean itβs published or anything.
26.09.2025 12:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There is a difference between releasing the guidance and laying it before parliament. It could to my understanding be released anytime by EHRC or by minister once approved, but it can first be laid and start the timer from 13th October.
26.09.2025 12:55 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0But each situation is different, and some in the UK will arguably have worse living conditions than one in the US, and vice versa. Iβm just genuinely concerned about both countries. I do admire the people who decide to stay and fight as well. Each decision is personal
19.09.2025 08:09 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0But I donβt live in the US. I just know that personally Iβd attempt to leave either country quickly. But with the US Iβd probably try to leave quicker and with less of a plan and savings to get out faster. Whereas Iβm trying for now in Britain to leave a little slower due to having more time.
19.09.2025 08:09 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0To an extend. But some states are worse than the UK, and my concern in the US is signs of proto concentration camps. Iβm in the process of leaving Britain, but I would attempt to leave the US faster than if I were living in Britain.

19.09.2025 07:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I understand that as well β€οΈItβs heartbreaking to see how bad things are in the US.
I just hope that the UK does not follow suit when Nigel Farage gets in. Labour has already done the ground work in Britain to get rid of trans and intersex rights.
While it is an individual decision to stay, I urge you to just read this short and emotional article. Even if you are not an trans american.
19.09.2025 07:49 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I would just want to share TransRescueβs advise to trans Americans:

17.09.2025 05:59 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0If she had laid it before parliament yesterday itβd only have made a day difference anyway. Itβs 40 sitting days before it becomes statutory. If it was laid when theyβre back it would be earliest December.
17.09.2025 05:59 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Under the genocide convention all states are required to prevent and punish genocide.
16.09.2025 07:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is honestly too late. Genocide is a crime against humanity, and the UN and the international community has been way too slow to act on it. I still wouldnβt be surprised if Keir says no genocide is going on in Gaza.

If it was up to me itβd be sent back and rewritten to be inclusive
15.09.2025 16:04 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Until itβs statutory some businesses wonβt enforce it, others will. Itβll be a weird mixture unfortunately.
15.09.2025 15:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It depends. MPs has less chance to coordinate if itβs laid tomorrow and thus the press will have forgotten about it by when they get back. Thereβll still be a media storm, but without MPs organising. Depends on how she wants to get it through.
15.09.2025 15:11 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0She can still lay it tomorrow. But itβll first be statutory earliest in December

15.09.2025 15:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Iβm not saying we should support Labour or endorse him. Just putting this out for reference.
15.09.2025 08:29 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A reminder of what Andy Burnham said on LBC post Supreme Court ruling. The only info I can find after the ruling. This was on 27/04/2025. In case he were to challenge Keir Starmer this is what we know
15.09.2025 08:29 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0So, 19 months since the lying EHRC last met TransLucent, a trans group they claimed they were 'meeting regularly'.
14.09.2025 07:38 β π 58 π 13 π¬ 2 π 0This is just mental. This an example of why the British press is broken and if you wonder why the UK has gotten so bad, this is a perfect example.
14.09.2025 07:00 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Reporters talking with everyone who has ever met the shooter asking if the shooter knew any trans people. Healthy society we have here for sure.
