CNBC guest experts talking about AI is absolutely asinine. Not only do they not understand AI but they have no knowledge whatsoever of how any activity is automated and deployed. They don’t even understand what workers are actually doing. They know buzz words but their arguments are nonsense.

Even more government debt. Running our nation like his bankrupt casinos.

It's like Downton Abbey where the lords family feels an obligation to be pampered by the servants so that they can earn a living. C'mon man! Corporate leaders shouldn't hurt their simple brains trying to think for once, however this isn't rocket science, UBI is the answer and AI makes that possible.

With all the AI headlines being taken up by Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT, it's hilarious seeing Grok being left behind in performance.

GOLDMAN warns of what a 10% stock market tumble would do to consumption:

β€œ.. such a decline would erase the 0.3pp boost to spending from wealth effects we expect in our baseline, resulting in a negative effect in 2026H2 .. disproportionately from spending by higher-income households.” πŸ‘€

I'm starting to feel the HODL and FOMO investor sentiment of the last 10 years is starting to wane. Investors are now talking a lot more about sectors, tactics, valuations, macro, etc... like normal times again. We shall see.

How? Perpetual victim republicans literally worship Trump as their savior and have given him unlimited power.

I have seen this movie before with sending engineering work to India. Upper management found that the real world is very different than their simple minded beliefs. Spoiler alert, they weren’t able to get as much engineering successfully done in India as they estimated.

Even with AI; engineering, programming, and finance/accounting are at the top. These occupations require more critical thinking now than they did decades ago (eg less cookie cutter engineering roles now), but the jobs remain for the right skill set.

I absolutely believe AI will disrupt every industry, company, and occupation, but that blog post was unhinged fear mongering.

Not legal and everyone knows it’s not legal. If he wants tariffs, then he needs to get his scared little republican puppets in congress to pass tariffs.

In addition to being friends with a known child rapist, Attia’s health claims look dubious to say the least. Just amazed how gullible people are; they love snake oil, especially if it’s just for the wealthy.

Parents have been holding kids back since the 1990s for academic, athletic, and social advantages. The long-term results are mixed though. It's not a risk-free decision or free lunch that parents like to think.
