I think the officer's remarks cover that!
20.10.2025 13:28 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's because he will never transfer Tomahawks to Ukraine. This is another of his 'sanctions in two weeks' stunts to keep his KGB handler happy.
17.10.2025 06:01 β π 15 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0RIP - apparently, she approved of this!
01.10.2025 20:50 β π 87 π 4 π¬ 3 π 0I'll second that!
24.09.2025 09:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'll second that!!!
24.09.2025 09:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The vehicle must still be taxed, but at no cost!
21.09.2025 16:38 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This was the seatpost on my turbo trainer bike after a couple of seasons of sweat:
12.09.2025 10:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Interesting. If you look at the HTML, it's definitely embedded as a video... It looks like BlueSky automatically converts GIFs to video:

Then they're going to have conniptions if the race goes anywhere near Peniston... or Cockermouth...
28.08.2025 11:25 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0He's going to urgently state that he is going to make an urgent statement in two weeks at 12:00 pm...
22.08.2025 07:00 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Geez - the orange one finally says something I agree with. If JB had acted more decisively and supported Ukraine fully rather than his half hearted drip feeding this whole mess would probably have been over by now...
21.08.2025 13:47 β π 9 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It is good enough for an accessible and practical roadside check - read a registration plate at 20m. I'd agree re-testing is a good idea. Maybe not every year, but every 3 to 5... Maybe coinciding with licence renewal - 10 years for under 70, 3 years over and 5 for commercial drivers...?
13.08.2025 13:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0No they can't - just like breath and drugs tests. But allowing optometrists to pull people over and test them isn't a solution!
13.08.2025 12:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Road Traffic Act 1988 s.96 refers.
13.08.2025 11:02 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This isn't necessary. A police officer has the power to pull motorists of any age over & administer a roadside eyesight test. The driver can then be fined (if they are supposed to be wearing glasses & are not, for example) & license revoked on medical grounds by the DVLA.

07.08.2025 05:49 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0What is that?
07.08.2025 05:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0MAGAs live amongst us..
03.08.2025 06:49 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Was he _actually_ offloading, or was it free parking?
01.08.2025 10:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0If you actually read the article, the claim was that the motorists went through the light WHILST the officer was dealing with the RLJing cyclist. If the cyclist had obeyed the lights, the officer would have been free to deal with a motorist. Methinks you missed the point here...
31.07.2025 19:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And to counter your anecdote, I'll anecdotally state that I have reported MANY motorists to the police (currently on just over 100 so far this year) and they HAVE acted. My thanks to both the Met and Surrey...
31.07.2025 19:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The guy said they went though the lights WHILE the officer was dealing with him. That's not being lazy. The officer was preoccupied with handling the cyclist. Whataboutery and blaming the police at every opportunity is becoming tiresome...
31.07.2025 19:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0But you could have googled that yourself. π€·ββοΈ
31.07.2025 15:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Cutting in is not an offence per se, and I never intimated it was. Lane filtering: riding between two stationary lanes. Lane splitting: riding between two moving lanes. Cutting in: moving in between stationary or moving vehicles between lanes. It may contribute to an offence of without due care.
31.07.2025 15:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0There's filtering between lanes (as per the HC) and cutting in between queued cars (not as per the HC). Without seeing what the cyclist was doing, it could have been either.
