15.02.2026 11:43 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Curling is of course INCREDIBLY technical but all you hear the mic'd players say is things like "have a look at this, what you reckon?" and then another one goes "yeah, tricky" with a broom in his hand.

14.02.2026 20:50 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0This is a great post about Wuthering Heights, the book, and its various filmed adaptations: smartbitchestrashybooks.com/2026/02/what...
(Honestly, I hated the book when I read it as a teen, but this post actually made me consider, for the first time, re-reading it as an adult.)
I like how you picked a bottle to match your shirt! ๐คฉ
14.02.2026 17:50 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0There are some deleted scenes on my DVD which are fabulous - I understand why they were the ones that got cut, but they add even more to the side characters.
14.02.2026 11:31 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I have just washed a teaspoon I would swear I have never seen before in my entire life. Where the hell has it come from? If the universe is giving me a Valentine's gift, I don't want it. (It's a weird shape and size.)

And no worries on the shouting! I felt for you when Yuma fell but yay for him making the podium.
It's had it to, from at least one of them!

Guess I'll have to watch back to find out?

13.02.2026 14:27 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0This is absolutely INFURIATING because it is so relentless, and yet it's still... it's still KIND of funny because honestly who is out there trying to get money from WRITERS, that's like holding a cup underneath a Bigmouth Billy Bass and hoping for caviar to come out
11.02.2026 20:32 โ ๐ 438 ๐ 89 ๐ฌ 9 ๐ 4A bit of google fu and some Reddit threads have finally led me to this comic - it was called The Mows, by Jay Dyke, and the cats were named Tigey (brown), Nonie (black) and Indy (grey) plus Minxy the girl-cat next door.
So that's a long-term mystery solved for me, hurrah.
That's odd, we do use manky in Britain.
Cat is a very Irish thing though.
I am sitting on the edges of Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers, which makes sense given my following/followers.
