There are a lot of niche platforms out there that only exist for specific content. For fanfiction there is Archive of our Own (AO3) and then some fandoms have their own websites, like fimfiction.net for My Little Pony.
Something I've noticed, though, is that original fiction suffers from anonymity.

I'm so sorry, we lost one of ours a while ago and it still comes up. But remembering his goodness helps it not hurt as much.

So I've been working on a fanfiction, co-writing it with a dear friend. We're up to 235k words and about 2/3 done with it. But I've started on the cover art! Here is the main character, Professor Eternal Bloom, Eterna to her friends.

Happy new years! For the last 17 days I've been cowriting a new MLP fic which has already gone over 100k words! Probably gonna publish it on fimfic once I draw the cover art for it. Maybe I should also draw a new avatar for myself instead of using someone else's art, hmmmmmm.

I finally signed up for dropout, and listening to @samreich.bsky.social and the team talk about dropped ideas for Game Changer episodes has me obsessively pondering the Clone Episode idea from "cool as a cucumber" behind the scenes. Is there a suggestion box I can drop my thoughts into?

Here's the digital version of my airship design! Made for a nerdy My Little Pony fanfiction story someone else was writing, I then wrote a short fic inspired by it myself! I'll have to post a link to that fic once I publish it.

A piece of graph paper is secured to a clipboard. On that graph paper there is a side view, top view, front view, and sectional view of a long straight sided airship with an oval cross section, and depictions of a fantastical pressurized air powered motor of some kind. It has references to the My Little Pony world, such as a Pegasus barracks.

In a MLP speed writing group, someone mentioned not knowing much about airships. I'm very autistic, so I drew an airship for them. This is the first draft, I have digitized it and will post the digital version soon.

A very fluffy black cat is sleeping on a cluttered computer desk in front of two monitors, side by side. In addition to the papers she's laying on, she's sprawled across a pair of pink Razer headphones, with her head tucked down in between the ear cups. Sadly, her actual ears aren't down far enough to be "listening to her jams" as described, but it's still amusing to see her head between the headphones.

I just spent 3 hours looking for a D&D figurine (Great Wyrm Red dragon) to realize that it's stored at a friend's house.
I feel a bit silly.
