I do volunteering both with catholic based charities and 2 local food pantries and they all get USDA funding/materials through TEFAP, a program that runs along with SNAP, and all orders not in transit have been ended despite available and apportioned emergency funding just like SNAP.

They’re detaining and now shooting American citizens. Stop calling these ICE raids “immigration raids.” They’re trying to rid the country of Latinos, whether they just got here or have been here for generations. It’s ethnic cleansing.

The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email
