Yes. In most communities, off-duty police officers are allowed to moonlight (“paid duty” is the euphemism for the Toronto Police Services, and maybe elsewhere).

As the adage goes about perfect being the enemy of good (or “better” in this case). Additionally, NG and renewables are not mutually exclusive. Another of the fed’s major projects is east coast wind.
Less to do with paying attention to politics than paying attention to this (and other) project(s)
While you and I might wish for immediate and complete decarbonization, NG is better than coal (still used extensively in Asia, and the U.S.); Canadian NG is preferable to Russian.
