Finally got a new laptop and got back to writing. Decided to go ahead and start the editing process as I transfer everything over from my drive. Added a new chapter 1, and tightened up some of the story. Feeling good about the direction and pace. #writersky #writingcommunity #amwriting

Lifelong insomnia and a 20 year career as a tattoo artist has really done a number on me. I sleep about 4 hours a night and have for as long as I can remember. I used to spend all that extra time drinking, and now I spend it writing, drawing, crafting, or painting. It’s a double edged sword. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I love the MOBAT. I wanna make a HISS tank so bad for my Cobra team. I’ve got a Dreadnoks and Iron Grenadiers team, but have really been work shopping a straight Cobra team.

I did this one time in my book, and it was a self reflective moment for the MC. I try to not describe a character all at once, and pepper it in organically as the story progresses.

Way too much traffic this morning lets me know the rapture didn’t happen, or they sent a lot of people back.

I am not feeling work today. The more I write, the less I want to go bury myself in sawdust. Might call it an early day to get home and work on my book. 1-2 chapters to go, and then we edit! #writersky #writingcommunity #amwriting

I like the mall for sci-fi inspiration. It gives me a feeling for a how large groups of folks would move on a large space ship, or a contained biosphere.

My #WIP is set in 1961, so I’ve been researching book covers from that era, and I really think I want to replicate that feel with my cover. I just love that pulpy art style and I think it fits the vibe of my story. #writersky #writingcommunity #amwriting

Just changed the title of my WIP, and I’m extremely pleased with it. Feels real good.

There are exactly 3 movies I’ve enjoyed his performance. Faster, Be Cool, and Get Shorty. I have high hopes I can add this one to the list.

A planned 30 chapter noir horror fantasy detective novel is quickly becoming 32 chapters.. I think. Maybe not if I can make some magic happen in this last chapter. Regardless, 29 chapters in the first draft are done. #writersky #writingcommunity #amwriting

I’ve been running a homebrew game for 3+ years and we only play once a month so I have time to not think about it. Takes me a couple weeks to write the sessions and do whatever crafting I need, so I try to have at least two weeks to work on other hobbies and interests.
