26.02.2026 22:52 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0No we didnβt but I do love all Julia Donaldsonβs books, except Sugarlump and the Unicorn which is so moving that I cried the first time I read it, so Iβll have to work my way through them with the toddler.
I have seen The Highway Rat which I loved.
Thank you Michael.
Jason Isaacs is so very watchable π
Whoa! Iβve not seen this but again Iβve read the books!
Whereβs it on?
I love the Wallander books and Kenneth Branagh (except as Poirot π±) so consequently loved this series.
Would definitely rewatch.
Have you ever seen it?
26.02.2026 15:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This looks fun. Iβve not watched GOT but Iβve read the books. I would probably need to watch while Mr B is otherwise engaged π

26.02.2026 15:31 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Good afternoon Michael.
This isnβt our usual fayre I know but I watched it this morning with a slightly under the weather toddler. It is so clever, so innocent and so beautifully done. Itβs available on iPlayer.
Treat yourselves π

24.02.2026 22:14 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0These are my grandsonβs favourite biscuit but theyβre known over here as plain old fig rolls.
A fig newton sounds so much more elegant.
Any idea where the name came from?
It was an absolute rollercoaster of laughs wasnβt it!
24.02.2026 22:06 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0We met over M R C Kasasianβs books somewhere between 2013 and 2018. I think the JB was about 2018 but I didnβt join in for ages as I didnβt feel I had enough musical knowledge.
I remember the 1pm quiz most fondly from during lockdown.
Thatβs great Peter.
Itβs almost worth losing something for the pleasure of finding it.
They missed a great musical opportunity here . . .
Noisey, hungry, greedy frogs

And a hearty welcome to JJ.
I look forward to seeing their Kitty wrangling skills ππΌ
I sense true contrition here. Kitty and Michael have have definitely forgiven you π
