BTW, I've seen some lists that class 20 hours as being short - but I'm really looking for something a lot shorter than that. Even 10 hours might be pushing it.

Are there any short JRPGs? I don't mean like modern indie RPGs with some JRPG flavour to them, I mean proper old-school JRPGs that don't waste too much time or overstay their welcome. I wanna have my cake and eat it too!

I've been playing 64th Street on my Super Pocket lately. I really like it! The controls feel pretty stunted at first but you get used to them, and the "throw enemies into everything" gimmick is really fun. I also like the 1930s setting, even though they don't lean into it that much. Great game!

Being a shmup fan on Steam is a real test of patience.

I'd really prefer it if most single-player games could be somewhere between 1-3 hours in length! Anything longer just feels like too much of a time-sink to me if I'm being honest.

Of course, single-player arcade games should be somewhere between 20-40 minutes long.

I hope to see more short games!

Emulation handhelds seem so hard to get into. A new one comes out every other week and you need to do a lot of the setup yourself... IDK. I've thought about getting one for a long time but I don't think I will. I'm pretty happy with my Super Pocket. I like Evercade carts. They're cool.

Yep, Gimmick! has been knocked off the top spot for the first time in a good long while. I just started playing Rod Land on my Super Pocket today and it's pretty nice. I want to 1CC it.

hope the new superman movie is good. mr terrific is my favourite comic hero and i also really like metamorpho so im feeling unusually invested in this one

The first few hours of Pokémon Gold/Silver are always really captivating IMO. Very atmospheric.
