Bell towers are fun because they let you know the time without having a watch or other clock handy. The tower I can hear from my office roof just rang its 11:15am chime, so I checked my watch to compare.... then I checked my computer and my phone.... the bell tower is about 90 seconds behind.

Had a dram last night about writing an algorithm and discussing the details about whether it should take in a C++ rvalue (&&) reference or if that would cause things to break.

I haven't written C++ code in at least 4 years.

Sometimes, I just sit back and realize how cool the technology we have available to us now is. Even looking back 10 or 20 years, things just do so much more, so much easier.

I have a big international trip later this year. Last night, I had a dream that flying home from the trip, my flight took us to Philadelphia instead of Washington DC. Fortunately, I checked and it lands at IAD, but yeah.... this trip can't come soon enough.
