I agree. I hope we’re better than that as well, but as I’ve said before, I don’t think MLF has the balls to make the moves he needs to without being forced into it. He values friendship and loyalty over being a great HC, IMO. He doesn’t know how to be a HC and make those tough decisions

I’m not sure what the answer at center is, but it’s not Jenkins. But he was way better at guard. I don’t understand why we can’t just draft players and play them in their normal position. Letting Myers go and not focusing on center was a misstep. I get having options with injuries, but this is diff.

He was kind of who I had in mind as one option for OC as well. I don’t hate the idea. I just need MLF to give up play calling. The idea of those two together is very appealing. MLF not calling plays is the only way I’m okay with him staying as coach.

His team regularly folds when adversity hits and he doesn’t adjust, and the team implodes. Not really what you want from a HC standpoint either. But I also don’t think a coach like Harbaugh is the answer. Especially if he’s going to be demanding what it seems like he is. #Packers

If MLF stays with the Packers, it needs to be on the condition he gives up play calling and hires a good OC. And that he fires the rest of the coaching staff like Butkus, Bisaccia. But I also don’t think he’s a strong mentality HC w/out the the play calling either.

I don’t see MLF as a HC who is going to get this team past where they ended up tonight. Injuries or not, their MO all season has been to not show up and lose games they should have won, blow leads when they shouldn’t be, and allowing the small details and adversity to derail any momentum they have.

And then it continued almost the whole second half. I also blame Gutey for a lot of issues with his failure to draft the right players, sign the right players and leaving this team with not great alternatives when injuries happen.

The total collapse is on your coaching and philosophy in those moments, and MLF doesn’t have what it takes to get this team over that hump. If they came in and were just overmatched from the jump with injuries it’d be one thing. But they had an 18 point lead and came out of half flat as usual.

MLF wants to run the ball when his offensive line hasn’t been good enough for that for most of the year. He play calls for the team he wants and not the personnel he has a lot of the time. And then refuses to adjust. You can use injuries as a crutch when you were winning this game by 18 at half.

MLF clock/TO management is consistently bad. That’s been an ongoing issue as well. The team being undisciplined consistently is coaching. I understand the players have to execute, but the same consistent meltdowns occur all of the time with this team, and that boils down to coaching.
