NASA & FAA has been working on airspace traffic management systems from UTM to PSU to upper Class E for many years.

This was clearly a sooner rather than later project, but they dropped all impetus.

Not to mention whatever "creative accounting" Disney likely does.

When corrected for the updated $230.1 M budget it would be 67.49% of the budget recovered in 5 days.

Not counting the additional ad revenue. (One would think ads could at least cover streaming operations costs).

I'm sure there's all kinds of flaws to my approach.

Streaming subscriptions are direct money from the subscribers. There are no middlemen. They should be raking in the money every month; they cannot claim a 60% loss like boxoffice receipts since they own the platform. Plus add the advertising profits.

Size, soft goods, paint apps, & multiple axes still require current day expenses. It's not like 50,000 units have been sitting in free, climate controlled storage requiring little to no labor for several years.

I like Andor a lot, but it doesn't seem to attract many young kids.

I hope it becomes a pop culture phenomenon, but I feel the audience may be too small for that to be true. It doesn't really hit the 4 quadrant marker. It's a bit too sophisticated.

It's "Star Wars frosting" can only do so much.

Yes. Andor is more of a spy/political thriller, and you don't need to know anything about Star Wars to enjoy it.

I think #StarWars fans need to accept and embrace the negative space of the stories more.

The en media res should be enjoyed more than the post-story filling in of gaps via dry lore development.

#Andor Season 2 showed how that could be done.

I don't think that was intended as a setup, but as a metaphor that what we do in life lives on.

But, if there was a follow-up, how do you make it worthy of what Gilroy's team did?

I thoroughly enjoyed #Andor.

It's one hell of an accomplishment.

On one hand it's disappointing that this story had to be told through an I.P.; & the industry cannot support this scale of torytelling independent of I.P.

On the other hand, the #StarWars galaxy was a great home for the story.

That #WinnipegJets tie near the end of regulation was absolutely electric.

People talking in rooms is action to me.

Almost every shot is adding to the whole.

The pacing is on par with traditional thrillers, heist movies, or spy movies.

Maybe those aesthetics don't appeal to you.

Andor is another name for the island of Numenor in Tolkien's work.

On top of being a real world name for real world people.

It's true for the movies. They have a process.
