i am making an open world roguelike.

i have been imagining this world for years, and i want to make this game so people can go there and live many lives in it!

the game features whole-cloth, accessible design, deep mysteries, and a meticulous generated living world.

Is this a new thing? If so, do you have a link with info? The only thing I can find dates back to 2023.

I think I liked it because I'm almost 100% sure that a lot of the locations were based on the town where Mikrogen was based - a place I knew very well.

I've used Texifier (used to be Texpad) for years; I've not found anything better yet, but it's got its quirks and annoyances, so I'm open to better recommendations if you have any 🙂

I've got to say, I prefer Typst, but I'm having to use LaTeX for a current project. Even so I use Texifier for my editing and just upload to Overleaf. The editing experience in Overleaf isn't great for me.

We'll see how that works out when it comes to the collaboration phase of the project.
