The 2nd book is great because you get to meet a lot of awesome characters like Chrisjen Avasarala and Bobbie Draper.

I'm on my 4th play through of the books. Safe to say it's my favorite book and tv series.

Not sure we'll live to see the TV series all the way through. The actor who played Alex (Cas Anvar) was fired from the show after several women came forward with claims of sexual misconduct.
