Two days left to get some serious writing done and I'm running dangerously low on bags of Percy Pigs.

We've sold enough of these to buy us some beers which was the peak of the mountain for me but a pint in Leeds is like £6 now so maybe we need to sell a couple more...

I do still find it difficult to celebrate any personal victory in the long shadow of the state of the world at the moment but it is very important to do so and I encourage you to do it.

The world keeps turning no matter how many billionaires insist on commanding it to do the opposite.

2025 was a BIG year for me and I'll (hopefully) be able to share more about why soon but in the meantime I hope everyone has also had fulfilling years and if you haven't, I hope 2026 will be yours 🎉

It’s been a while hasn’t it?

You’ll be pleased to hear we’ve not been idle (well, we’ve been a *little* idle) and we’re very excited to show a sneaky preview of our latest ttrpg adventure 👀

I have many thoughts on this but will keep it brief.

A good d&d character for me has:

- a clear objective/motive
- fits with the vibe of the game/other players
- is FUN to play
- has a cool outfit/hat/familiar or all three
- has something they are bad at and need help with

I also signed off book 3 of a series I've been narrating and I'm very sad to think that that's the last time I'll voice those characters.

I've spent a year performing as them and it was my first full series and now it's all done 🥺

Now, I need to go find more VO work. Which is the worst part.

It sucks BUT we did our best, made a cool thing and raised a really solid amount of funding from literally nothing.

So I'm very proud of us for that and very thankful folks even wanted to see this thing made.

It's our first Kickstarter so lots has been learnt!

I've a couple posts left in me for this wonderful book.

We've raised nearly £1.5k for it which is amazing and I'm super happy to have achieved that!

The traditional morning snuggle before I have to start posting about goblins again.

The cats called spot! If I remember rightly she's meant to be the "ships cat" like an old naval tradition but Data just really enjoys them. So she's been there the whole time!

I also agree that it's super sad when people are mean to Data and he keeps treating them the same 😭
