Apparently YouTube thinks I’m watching too many cooking videos, because now it’s trying to push weight-loss videos on me.

This happens basically every time a kinda-mainstream show about gay men kicks off. “Oh, it’s gay men for straight women” or “it’s a straight version of gay men.” As if the only good movie about gay men is a 1970s flick shot in someone’s basement.

I’m so tired of the “women are fetishizing us!” talk. Lots of talk about this re: BL, too. There’s more than a little lowkey misogyny baked in there.

I kind of get the feeling that the anti-woke media “criticism” thing has run its course. Listening to a discussion now and the anti-woke dude keeps talking about stuff like THE WITCHER and HALO and…GHOST BUSTERS 2016?! No new material for these people.

For me it’s mostly that some streamers are very bad about just letting them run, so they don’t manage to finish most of their sentences because people are chiming in with two dollar comments.

Posobiec has been on a 10-hour rant about how Netflix is too gay (because Stranger Things has gay characters) and is going to turn Warner Bros. gay. Apparently, he has never seen a Warner Bros. movie or an HBO show, going all the way back to "Rebel without a Cause."

I don’t watch as many YouTube streamers as I did a couple years back, but, y’all—superchats are the most annoying innovation I’ve ever encountered.

I did like the dad a lot in this episode, once I settled into his acting rhythm (which is an odd one).

So this week’s HEATED RIVALRY took a break, apparently to dip into the *first* book in the series and it was…fine.

Oh gosh, *that cameo* in PLUR1BUS.

I want, or need, a musical version of KINGS ROW. Years back I had the opening number mapped out in my head, but I’m no writer of musicals.
