The quickest way to kill National's plan to allow offshore drilling is for the Greens / TPM to say "we will reverse it. And revoke any permits granted. Also sunset all existing fossil fuel permits".

Because that will DEFINITELY happen.

Irony is a party that got 11% of the vote that has held a disproportionate amount of power over the past ~20 years wanting a referendum because they think Māori have disproportionate power.

Will be interesting to see if coalition talks can be concluded in less time than it took to count and verify 602K special votes...
