“This show is a love letter to queer life in Northern New Mexico,” says curator J. Matthew Thomas. “Each artist brings something powerful—stories of joy, defiance, memory, and presence. Together, the exhibition becomes an archive of what it means to be queer and creative in Taos today.”

Curated by local artist and community arts organizer J. Matthew Thomas, the exhibition highlights over 25 artists through a dynamic mix of painting, sculpture, fiber, photography, installation, and mixed media.

It's our favorite time of year at WOWArtSci. Return of the Hummers. Black Chinned males are the first to arrive, followed by Broad Tailed and Rufous. Occasionally a Calliope will visit This spring we also have furious nest building by Mountain Bluebirds, Canyon Towhees, Says Phoebe's, and finches.

We are down with a nasty head cold, but we are watching the #handsoff protests all across America with great enthusiasm.

Good morning from snowy Taos County. KP watched two coyotes at dawn chasing a jackrabbit next to the house. A flock of sage sparrows has been gleaning off the Siberian Elm. It's a beautiful morning. And will probably all be melted by this afternoon... Grateful for the moisture.
