Do at least the bare minimum. (You can often get documents notarized for free, and while it's helpful to have a lawyer, it's not required.)

Whether 15, 8, or 5, they are all CHILDREN. A 15-year-old is not "barely legal" - she is a CHILD. Not legal. Not OK. Pre-pubescent or post-pubescent, they are all children. Do not normalize this.
Today is world kindness day, and a perfect day to celebrate Fred Rogers and his impact on many of our lives.
He shared innumerable wise words with us, many which have stuck with me and guide me even today, and I'd like to share a few of them this morning.
A U.S. map titled โWinter Warming Since 1970 (ยฐF)โ shows nearly all regions shaded in red, representing rising winter temperatures. The Upper Midwest and Northeast stand out as the fastest-warming areas, with average winter increases between +4ยฐF and +6ยฐF. Source: NOAA/NCEI Climate at a Glance.
Winter isn't what it used to be.
It's actually the fastest-warming season for much of the U.S.
Since just 1970, winters (December - February) have warmed in 98% of 244 U.S. cities analyzed by 3.9ยฐF on average.

11.11.2025 12:51 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0In the century leading up to 1975, nearly 6000 freighters went down in the Great Lakes.
The Edmund Fitzgerald was the last.
The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes.
Why?
It's NOAA. Of course it's NOAA.

My perhaps controversial assessment is that when you share the propaganda of your enemies to call it out or to mock itโฆ youโre still spreading their propaganda and maybe doing exactly what they hope youโll do.

NOAA hurricane hunters flying aboard a P-3 Orion aircraft ("Kermit") are monitoring Hurricane Melissa as most aircraft steer clear. The storm poses a catastrophic threat to Jamaica and Haiti.
