As someone diagnosed with both within the last few years, I don’t blame anyone questioning that choice right now. I’ve been careful about pursuing treatment options, and now I’m even more grateful I was already cautious. But it means my support options are even more limited when they shouldn’t be.

Those are sometimes the most frustrating days. You know you were productive but still somehow feel like you accomplished nothing. Ugh.

Had a similar experience in 8th grade when a lovely teacher would post the “best” papers on the wall outside her classroom (with names removed). Lucky for me, she was a badass and refused to tell the principal whose it was and defended me anonymously.

I love Max so much. I can’t imagine him not being an asset in any clubhouse.

This has become something of a family motto for us and it’s especially helpful now that we have five pre-teens/teens.

I’m so early an early bird that normal society still doesn’t like me. I’m simply not functional after 1pm and the 9-5 “culture” is pure bullshit. But good lord is being in my office at 6am in the quiet fantastic. (We also have guys in this office that work night owl hours.)

Royals fan here. As in got a KC tattoo during a season when they sucked (2009), named kids after players, etc.

That said, I love the sport in general and love visiting MiLB stadiums.

These things bring balance and remind us what we’re fighting for no matter how trivial they may feel in comparison. 🧵

It’s okay to laugh and find joy in things right now. I know it’s hard, and may even feel massively incongruous with everything going on in the bigger picture. But you still deserve joy and comfort wherever you can find it. 🧵
