Introverts don’t love talking about themselves but as an artist, you kind of have to. Hence my new personal website, giving a glimpse of my creative output over the last 15 years. In a world that increasingly seeks to automate art and humanity, creative labour is an act of resistance.

If you look at the US as a tech company and Trump as the CEO and the oligarch as shareholders and the citizens as overworked underpaid dispensable employees, the great capitulation of 2025 makes perfect sense.

I used to blast “Break Stuff” by Limp Bizkit when I had a bad day in 7th grade and now it’s when I see the price of apples and coffee and toilet paper at the grocery store.

I think the most profound part of having a child get an autism diagnosis is that the questions of “Why does this feel so hard? Am I not a strong parent? Why can’t I stop my body and mind from burning out?” which fill your head for 3 years quickly fade and are slowly replaced by grace for yourself.

Our 5YO was diagnosed with autism and an anxiety disorder today. What a dynamic 2 years leading to this day. In tears over the support he will get through the BC government. The mind is anything but simple; we now have a map to empower him to thrive, with us always at his back.💙
