My friend died today. She’d been ill with the big C for a while, & while her passing was not unexpected, sadness prevails. Here’s a picture of us in our 20’s, living in LA, when nothing mattered & life was easy. I will miss her greatly.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday night shifts. It’s not for the weak.
