The biggest thing is riser cables. The card doesn’t get seated into mobo. They have been getting cheaper and better but you will lose maybe 3-5% performance and you need to figure the right length for your case. Ordered a Lian Li PCIe 4 to try.
Besides that power efficiency is king for thermals.
