Here is a question for all of you cartoonist/cartoon appreciators, can you actually remember the first Far Side comic you saw, and what was your reaction to it? I remember my first two below, I honestly had trouble processing the humor for the first few, then the genius struck me.

Even knowing nothing about it before I look at the Kickstarter, that design is super cool and striking.

Congratulations. I just listened to this weeks @comiclab.bsky.social episode where you were seriously fretting about this. So glad to hear that it worked out!

Eric Maruscak created a chalk art drawing of Ben Grimm (aka The Thing) at a stop on the Broome County Arts Council Art Walk. The chalk art is 5’ x 9’ and is based off of a Neal Adams original illustration. The art was created in conjunction with the Nanticoke Historical Society as part of there mini chalk art festival at today’s artist event.

A Wizard of Oz board game that came out 9 years before the film. This was purely based on the pool popularity and marketing.

Went to the All Things Oz museum in Chittenango, where L. Frank Baum was born. This museum isn’t huge, but wow do they have a lot of incredible stuff! Totally worth a visit.

A quick walk around of my #winxclub chalk art at #comicconinternational. This is an anamorphic distortion so this video is a good example of how stretched it is from the wrong angle, and how it looks from the proper viewing angle. Enjoy!

I pose with the completed Winx Chalk Mural. It took me approx 22 hours to complete (over several days) and the sunlight was intense. I made sure to lather on the sunscreen. This one was definitely a rough one to get through, the travel, the intense sun and pavement condition, all worked together to really knock me for a loop! I hope everyone enjoys the art.

Our dog Iris at just 8 weeks old and 3 pounds. She is wearing a bright pink cat collar that is still too big in her.

Iris now 5 years old. She sits in the comfy grass on one of our hikes. She wears a bright yellow bandanna that reads “Do not pet. I need space” cause she is axioms and reactive.

It was 5 years ago that we brought home our dog Iris, then just a tiny 3 pound puppy. She has grown in size, and in our hearts, and we love this snuggly ball of crazy. Happy Anniversary Iris.
