Thermal image of my legs. The left leg, especially at the knee and surrounding area is considerably colder than the right. There is some muscle atrophy to the left leg. Warmest areas are orange with the cold areas are purple.

I have heated mats. Bedroom, bathroom, living room (when I'm able to get downstairs) and another at my in-laws. Then there's 'electric slippers'. Keeping my leg warm is a necessity for exactly the same reason.
Cold = pain. Lots of it.

I appreciate I have watched just a small cross section of his work but he played characters who were warm, likeable and liked to joke around. I've always wondered how much of his personality is in those roles. He looks like the granddad everyone wanted.

Sad to hear of the passing of Robert Duvall (95). It's a ripe old age, but another one of the greats has left us. From 'THX 1138', to 'Deep Impact', Apocalypse Now', 'Gone in 60 Seconds' and the sublime 'Falling Down'. The Godfather too but it's not one of my faves.

For me it would be to feel believed. My disability is invisible.
The only thing people start to accept is my leg doesn't bend past ~45° so my ♿ has a leg extension. They can see one working leg but accept I can't use the other.
I use "Any 3 y/o can tell you you can stand on 1 leg but need 2 to walk"

The trouble comes if the car park is on private land. If they decide it's fit for regular cars only to increase the number of spaces they could likely do so.
