Making me glad I studied systematic theology at an ELCA seminary. Though we definitely have an ecumenical population now, it was not the class you describe!

Yeah. Sorry I didn't think of that as a split, though I guess it is. We lost a number of congregations when we decided to ordain LGBTQ+ pastors. 142,000 left out of 2.8 million is more like a splinter.
