My day off has continued with an Autumn 'Brambly Hedge' feel. Homemade bread rolls, a whole (blue) pumpkin turned soup and several Bramleys processed.

This day a year ago I was in the worst pain of my life (bar childbirth) when I encountered a pavement pothole hidden in fallen leaves and sustained an avulsion fracture of my ankle. Once home, Mr LnS's efforts to carry me to the sofa were both hilarious and agonising! #HeDroppedMe

I have never known a Parish where individuals self-appoint themselves to jobs, do them (badly) without reference to anyone else and then get upset if you make a gentle suggestion otherwise.
It will be a major cause of my eventual departure.
