Impossible now to know how much extra time one needs when changing or connecting, particularly for Eurostar in Brussels.

I wish existing routes with existing infrastructure could just be more friendly. Space, a table, power socket. Also for other users just to be quiet with their gadgets.

Wouldn't be amazing if the Government would make the case for sustainability? Tough choices, but they can be swallowed them if we know why they are being made. Look what we did during Covid.

I've never found it acceptable that, through history, rich benefactors get their names on concert halls, galleries, etc., and, in the case of Gates, determine who lives or dies.

Maybe it was counterintuitive for Virgin to seek access to TM and STP and not to build a maintenance depot at Ashford?

Plus there's a terminal at Ashford and a fast link to it from STP. It seemed to me counterintuitive to battle for access to Temple Mills.

That is not the interior of an LNER train.

I put my life in their hands every time I get on a train. They know every bump, corner, tunnel, what is normal, what is not. In the dark, fog, snow, 5 O'clock in the morning and 9 O'clock in the evening. Worth every penny.

As a big train user, the horror is real. My heart goes out to all those affected. Not a time for further comment.
