You will be ecstatic to know I finished that slow horses book (3) and am well into a Stephen King collection. V good so far and I look forward to checking out the back catalogue of this “King” chap.

Am delighted to announce I finished bonfire of the vanities. It was ok. But it took 2 months to read. Now on Slow Horses #3 and need to speed up my book intake.

Am on ep3 right now. There is trrrrrrrreachery and murrrrrdeerrr afoot! And all for the prize dollaaaaarrrrrz

Book update. Bonfire of the Vanities is taking longer than expected with kindle telling me I am a mere 37% of the way through. With a further 9 or so hours reading to go before I finish, my current pace of 3 pages before falling asleep I may potentially finish by summer.

For tonight’s boxing EXTRAVAGANZA, I predict that Mason “The Line” Dixon will beat Rocky Balboa in a split decision tonight but the moral victory will go to the Italian Stallion.

Following the Churchill affair I started (and have now finished) a book about promising skiffle group “The Beatles” and I must say that whilst I’ve never heard of them (they’re from the 1960’s I think) I do intend to give them a listen.
