Just look at the human lives lost as a direct result of cuts by other countries so far this year. Aren't those lives the sort of saving we should be concerned about?

Using the notwithstanding clause to strip away human rights is an attack on democracy and must be fought with everything we've got. It started with the SaskParty's Bill-137 and now it's Alberta with Bill-2. This is rising authoritarianism (a la USA) and we need to call it out for what it is.
