I myself don't discuss my own identities a lot for my own personal comfort- I can only imagine how distressing it can be to feel that it's not safe to share who you are or be honest about it without feeling at risk.

You should not feel ashamed of protecting yourself or thinking of what is in your best interest!

I hope that in the future that you continue to be safe, that you will again be in a place where it's safe to be yourself and be as open as you like
