The Martini: I use Bombay Sapphire gin and Martini & Rossi Extra Dry vermouth (the only vermouth brand I have access to). I go about 5:1, gin to vermouth. Since learning that they added orange bitters in the old days, I add a dash of Angostura orange bitters. I use a 500ml beaker as a mixing class. Since I have to make my ice manually, I keep the coupe and the gin in the freezer and the vermouth and the mixing glass in the fridge. For the same reason, I use only about six 1-ounce ice cubes per drink. I think I do ok.

I hate writing exercises like this that are supposed to help but don't.

I didn't eat brand name peanut butter until I started working steadily in my twenties. And it was Skippy. So there's some brand loyalty for you. 40 years of Skippy.

To be honest it tastes like candy bar peanut butter rather than PB&J peanut butter.
