It's pretty clear that the President of the United States is a war criminal. He's done enough already to merit that tag.
Our war criminal is now in cahoots with Israel's war criminal in attacking Iran for nuclear weapons they don't have.
The Republican Congress is fine with all of this.

I have a good variety of news sources (still read WaPo, but now with side-eye) that I check each morning. But I also have the benefit of reading some 50 journalists right here on Bluesky, so I get the news - along with my favored bias - here before it makes the airwaves. R.I.P., CNN...

I would suggest that it's people like Carr who need to take the Pledge of Allegiance every day. The rest of us could probably do it once and be done.
And it goes without saying that there's no point whatsoever in having Donald John Trump take that pledge. He violates his oath of office daily.

Republicans have no hesitation in compelling Hillary Clinton (of all people) to testify, but not one of them has the guts to ask, pretty please, if Donald John Trump, known rapist, has a moment to speak before the committee.
Can't wait for Democrats to take back the majority.

Funny. At no time would I ever believe that you could vote for a Republican in the general, having gone over the exhaustive list of potential candidates myself.
Not a one is qualified.
And the primaries is where all the fun is.

Looking out the window at the upper deck and beyond, we see snow covered outdoor grille with a good 4" of snow or more. Snow-covered trees line the property out back.
Looking out at the Weather Grilleยฎ this morning, I don't see a lot of difference from when we went to bed last night. NOT COMPLAINING. Snow coverage here in the West Chester, PA area doesn't look anywhere near what was predicted, and I'm okay with that.

Interesting points from MS Now Weekend Prime:
1. Watch for Republicans now saying "I was always opposed to tariffs," leading up to primaries. They weren't.
2. Here it comes..... MOOOOZLIMS! Islamophobia works for Republicans. A golden oldie making a comeback tour.

Fascinating. Not really. I've played (almost) every Zelda game since the beginning, as they came out. I've always approached each entry as a stand-alone video game, never once considering how one relates to the one before it. The exception being TotK, so closely tied to BotW.

We're going to insist on calling this Trump's "signature economic policy."
From the outset, his tariffs were illegal, they were fraud, they were his attempts to bully OUR ALLIES. [Republicans in] Congress should have stopped this on day one.
"Signature economic policy." Normalization.

Trump's illegal tariffs should have been reversed on "Liberation Day." It should never take 10 months to figure out what we know to be illegal.
But it's troubling that 3 SCOTUS justices voted to let Trump's tariffs stand, as if they have no awareness of the Constitution and "power of the purse."

DHS funding failed. When you look at what Dems were demanding, it's fair to say what Republicans are FOR:
Impromptu raids on private homes.
Wearing masks, but not body cameras.
Ragtag militia-style clothing instead of uniforms.
No accountability, even for murder and assault.
etc.
