Some advice for space heater users:
• Don’t use extension cords or power strips.
• Space heaters draw a lot of power and can overheat cords.
• Turn them off when you leave a room or go to sleep.
You don’t want space heaters causing power issues and leaving you in the cold. Be safe, stay warm.
The western counties in MD6 are expected to get some of the highest snowfall totals. I strongly encourage everyone to follow the advice of the Governor and local authorities regarding safety precautions.

BREAKING: A federal court rules Virginia's lifetime voting ban for people with certain prior felony convictions unlawfully strips voting rights beyond what Congress allows.
The decision could restore voting rights to hundreds of thousands of voters, especially Black voters long targeted by the ban.
Congress should not consider adding a single dollar to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) until ICE stops their masked, lawless assault on our communities.

🚨 In 2025, state legislatures enacted more laws restricting voting access than expanding it 🚨
At least 16 states enacted 31 restrictive voting laws. Of those laws, 30 will be in full effect for the 2026 midterms ⤵️
