Yooka-Replaylee works a little better in this remixed iteration, but introduces all sorts of new wonkiness along the way.

I revisited Yooka and friends with Yooka-Replaylee, and it's definitely an improvement, but also still quite an antiquated, flawed game. For context, I would have scored the original a 4/10.

I cannot overstate how good of an editor Dan is, and how fierce of a protector he has been for IGN's editorial integrity.

That impact will last beyond him, but I am going to miss him a lot all the same.

Dan has been a tremendously influential mentor to me for the past 8 years and I’ve always admired him as the GOAT of games critique. His reviews style guide became my holy text when I started writing for IGN. I’ll miss him covering my drafts in red ink and making me a better, more persuasive writer.

I stand by it, dammit!

Wildgate Review - IGN This cooperative shooter makes for a wild ride, but currently feels like a proof of concept for something really great.

Grounded Review: There’s a lot of room for Grounded 2 to grow in early access, including enemy variety, a better base-building system, and especially technical performance. But as incomplete as it is, Obsidian already very clearly has something special on its hands. Score: 8
