Next Monday, 32 people are scheduled to make their first appearance at Westminster Magistrates' Court.

A reminder that as Home Secretary, Yvette Cooper had so little confidence in pushing a ban on Palestine Action through parliament in July 2025 that she bundled it together with the neo-Nazi "Maniacs Murder Cult" and then refused MPs the right to vote on each separately.

The gov is to appeal. Despite the High Court revealing their authoritarianism, they seem to want the Supreme Court to do so as well.
The court ruled that the ban remains in place until a future hearing.

This is a fabulous win, but it is one battle in a war of attrition with many dark forces pitted against us!

Following a successful Judicial Review brought by Huda Ammori, and a sustained campaign of defiance by defend our juries leading to almost 3,000 ‘terror’ arrests, the ban on Palestine Action has been ruled unlawful in the courts.

Absolutely we should fear terrorism and seek to prevent it.
But we should also fear those who use either real terrorism or bogus claims about terrorism to boost their own powers, restrict our freedoms and corrode our democracy.
Both present major threats to public life.

The state must now back down and end the ban on Palestine Action. The continuing proscription is an abuse of freedom of expression and assembly
