It continues to surprise me just how many people are already investing in cargo bikes around here despite having basically no good biking infrastructure.

It's going to be amazing seeing what the Greater Cleveland area looks like once the bike lane networks are built out.

Rode the Tern GSD to the grocery store and as I was locking up the bike an older couple approached me and struck up a conversation. They recently bought an HSD and GSD to take their grandkids on rides and asked about my accessories.

Feels good to have so many random interactions from this bike.

This area is not even close to Paris or Amsterdam levels of cycling infra but I'm incredibly lucky to have a network of shaded side streets that are low traffic enough to use.

It takes most of them in Cleveland like a champ (which is also a huge challenge after winter lol). The ones I had the most issue with weren't exactly bumps and more like sinkholes. But I highly recommend it still, great product.

Just got back from Amsterdam. All trams were multiple doors. Sometimes just two, sometimes all doors.

I and many others on #bikesky use @handlestash.bsky.social. I'm personally a huge fan of it, they absorb a good share of bumps but not all of them, although I doubt any product could.

Ontario court strikes down Ford government's plan to remove Toronto bike lanes | CBC News An Ontario court has deemed the province's plan to remove three major Toronto bike lanes unconstitutional. A spokesperson for Ontario's transportation minister said the government will appeal.

"The evidence shows that restoring lanes for cars will not result in less congestion, as it will induce more people to use cars and therefore any reduction in driving time will be short-lived, if at all, and will lead to more congestion," said Schabas in his decision.

It appears that the judge saved the bike lanes because they found that:
-removing the bike lanes would reduce the safety of cyclists, going against the charter of rights and freedoms
-removing the bike lanes would worsen congestion, going against the removal's stated purpose
