I admit I don’t understand the grade levels in UK schools. Sixth formers? Upper sixth? Year Seven? Year seven is US sixth grade. Sixth formers are 16-18 year olds!?!

You know how those of us who've been covering and talking about and shouting about book bans for over 4 years now have talked about how vital it is to show up to school board meetings and library board meetings? How necessary it is to vote down ballot? How change happens by "being political?"

Hmmmm… what a coincidence.

Crater Lake National Park is so worth the trip. The blues are an artist’s dreams. So many shades and all amazingly beautiful. Photos don’t do it justice.

We are switching to Qmlative this summer and I have the same ick feelings about the name.

Our district libraries are also open Wednesdays during the summer and I always have a full house.

I admit I feel guilty because I haven’t read any kids books, only grown up ones. I haven’t read any PD books, done any planning, taken any classes, gone to any conferences or other EDU stuff.
I know I will, but I haven’t so far. Still recovering from last school year.

2nd week- clean, clean, and clean
3rd week- what house project should I take on this summer?
