A few years back I rewatched The Witcher S1, Geralt's Plots Only Edition, and they were great. The weird timeline wasn't great but the real issue with the Witcher is they took a show about a monster hunter, a perfect Monster of the Week show, and added way too much Plot to it.

I think the baseball one was the worst, because it wasn't even memorably weird or bad, just bland.

The con artist episode was the only one I really enjoyed. Some others were decent but a step down from S1.

Ah well there's always Columbo.

The Search: strange two-parter. First one feels like a lot of table-setting until the end, but is nonetheless well-paced, and the second half is largely One Of Those Plots You're Not Supposed to Do.

It mostly works, it introduces the Defiant, and Odo meets and leaves his people.
