Actually I didn't post about episode 8, which was excellent. Really enjoyed that one.

Episode 10: kinda gross!

Continuing on with Poker Face, ep9: guys you have *physical proof* and there are cops *right there.*

At least explain to the audience why you're not going to the cops.

We just watched this one last night. It was fine, a huge improvement over the first half of the season (the alligator episode was garbage and the baseball one was tedious) but, like...dude, there are cops *right there.* You have *actual proof.*

I'll defend Mortal Kombat 95 which had cheesy fun action scenes and knew exactly what it was trying to be. That basic bloodsport tournament plot was all they needed to hang the movie off. Alas they ignored it for Annihilation, where Liu Kang rolls in a hamster ball through the centre of the earth.

And frankly, "But for me it was Tuesday," is a killer line.

A big part of the reason I felt Beyond was the best of them was that he had far more to do.

Doestoevsky is my favorite author. There'd be plenty of long-dead folk here as well. For living authors I love Dan Simmons' The Terror (it was a strong influence on Red in Tooth and Claw, though not always in the ways you'd expect).

Hamlet is canonically a student so its weird that they always get older actors to play him. Gibson, Branagh, even the one when I saw it live. Just pure 'How do you do, fellow kids?'

2015 for me, we saw a Pretty Good Hamlet (even if the actor was, as always, too old for the role) and picked up The Klingon Hamlet.

During Covid we watched all the plays they broadcast on YouTube.

Stratford is great. If I won a lottery I'd buy a home there. First I'd need to play the lottery though.

Lower Decks was also very much this, though it took longer to get there than SNW.
