We were there a few days, ostensibly for a rugby league day. Fortunately we found an area, near the old town, called Brewery Row. There were six or so craft breweries and a few other decent bars at around £12 a pint.

I know, crazy prices in the tourist traps...
Same the world over. Paid £20 a pint in Vegas in March.

I've just checked and the nearby
Three Hulats, in Chapel Allerton, near my daughter's has 12 cask beers on at £2.15 a pint!
